This is a great little spot on the North End that serves gyros, burgers, or Mexican street food (tacos, torts, etc.), like you might find in Chicago near the train stations. Generous portions, quick, friendly service, lots of booths, tables and booths available. Quiet enough to hear your table conversation. Jarritos sodas in the cooler in a variety of flavors. Torta al Pastor was great!

I had the supreme gryo. It was very filling, it was delicious, and the most authentic gyro that I’ve had (I’ve eaten gyros in Louisiana, Florida, Arizona, Missouri, and nobody will be able to touch this.) what do I know about authentic? My late buddy from Greece introduced me to lamb and it was one of the best things I had ever eaten, this one is real close in comparison. Stop here and show some love!
Excellent pico to start the meal and very crispy chips! Gyro supreme and steak gyro were both really good, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and delicious.
The Gyro Hut has some of the best tacos in town! Here, you can order 3 tacos for $5.00 and just a bit more for a Jarritos soda. If you are feeling a little adventurous, try my recommendation: Order 3 tacos carnitas with hot sauce and get a pineapple Jarritos soda. Squeeze the lime onto each taco and add the hot sauce. The “burn” only lasts a couple of minutes. These tacos are amazing. If you found this helpful, smash the like button for me!
The new place is kinda dark. Best gyros anywhere. Also traditional Mexican and Americanized.
Delicious food and the green salsa is super tasty! The gyro torta is amazing.
